DIY- How to take your jean from basic to extra
Hi guyss, It’s another DIY post this month ( For those of you that are not conversant with the acronym ‘DIY’ it means Do It Yourself). I don’t know how many of you can tell how elated I am being that this is my second DIY in a year. I really love DIY projects and I’m always very wild with excitement when I come up with such creativity. This alone explains why I’m really happy.
It’s been a long time coming and compared to other bloggers, this is actually taking a slow pace. But I’m really in no competition with anyone and just trying to take a step as it comes.
The basis of this DIY is to transform your jeans from basic to extra. Many of us might think that achieving this could pose as an Herculean task going by that word ‘extra’ but it’s not basically. It’s actually as easy as A B C. So if you just recently bought a jean and you not feeling it or you are trying to revamp your old jean then you’re in the right place. Let’s get to this without much further ado.
For this project, all you need is appliqué, a jean apparently and an iron
The only thing you need to do is to iron your appliqué on your jean and ta-da it becomes a pleasant sight to behold.
However I only just realized that when I followed this path of ironing, the appliqué didn’t stay for so long so I tried sewing the appliqué on the jean.
In other words, to be on a safer side you just might need a needle and thread to sew the edges of the appliqué on your jean neatly and it still gives you the much desired result.
The usefulness of this appliqué is enormous. You can try this DIY on your facecap, sneakers, dresses and so on. It speaks creativity on any outfit.
What do you think about this DIY and would you be trying this soon. Please do let me know in the comment section…
Oops I almost forgot, I’d be wearing this jean and giving off some street style vibes next week. So pls be on the lookout.
